In fact, I was giddy with excitement to again attend this exciting event organised by MPOC and Dr. Bhavna Shah ma’am .In the same way, I am always excited for the beginning of a new academic year in College.None of the branded dresses , will ever match the satisfaction I felt marching into Sunville Banquets dressed up like Deepika Padukone from Goliyon ki Ram Leela.
There are some events that are special to me and the healthy living event organised by MPOC and Dr. Bhavna Shah Ma’am (Country representative India and Sri Lanka Malaysian Palm oil Council ) is one of them .
The event was based on Bollywood theme, where all of us had to dress like our favorite Bollywood character . The event started with the insightful presentation of the benefits of palm oil by Dr. Bhavana Shah (Country representative India and Sri Lanka Malaysian Palm oil Council ) and Mr. Sandeep Bhan (COO of Sime Darby Oils, Part of Sime Darby Plantation, the biggest producer of sustainable Palm oil).
Not only that , there was also a Food Hunt where we had to visit different restaurants based on clue cards and taste the food.
A quick Glimpse of the Food Hunt
1.The first restaurant that we visited was Barana @baraanaamumbai, at Atria Mall, the waiters were cheerful and we were seated on beautiful chairs and nice wooden tables under awesome lightings. It was a blind folded , food tasting session. The food that we tasted was a mint fritter made in palm oil and it was very yummy.
2.After that we visited the Game @thegamemumbai restaurant again in Atria Mall. Here all of us had to participate in a quiz session on Palm oil. It was very informative and quite an interesting task.
3.The third restaurant that we visited on our food hunt quest was Light House Cafe. Here we had to make a Salad using the ingredients giving. Our team made a beautiful salad using palm oil for the dressing.
After which we all got back to the event venue which was Sunville Banquets.
Now, it was the time for the next activity which was a food relay
FOOD Relay
Here each team member had to pick up a sweet item and mix it in the Ice cream . After that , every team member had to devour on the ice cream as fast as possible. Here, I came to know that even biscuits are made using Palm oil.
After this session, full of competition, excitement and thrill , the next session was full of entertainment, as it was based on Bollywood.
Bollywood theme
I was dressed up like Deepika Padukone from Goliyon ki Ram Leela , I also danced on one of the songs from this movie. All of us had come dressing up like Bollywood Stars. One thing was sure the stage was loaded with Glamour, Talent and Laughter.
What I love about Red Palm oil
I don’t think there’s a single thing more important to me than Fitness and Health.. And as much as I love to eat food ,I also love to pay attention to my fitness level. That is why I have fallen in love with Red Palm oil from Malaysia. It has immense health benefits like lowering bad cholesterol, improving skin and hair health ,boosting Vitamin A content , reducing stress, improving brain health, to name a few.
As a fashion blogger and influencer, I know the significance of fitness and health .Whether I have to dress up for fashion week or a meet and greet,it is important to look fit and happy. It makes everything easier, if you have that healthy glow on your face, dressing up is not a big deal.
I think the most crucial items for a superb look are a calm mind and a healthy body.
Thankfully, the miraculous benefits of Malaysia’s red palm oil can assist in maintaining the health of both my mind and body, The carotenoids loaded red palm oil facilitates in protecting the skin from UV rays. The tocotrienols present in the red palm oil also slows down the ageing process. So, isn’t it a good news for all the beauty conscious girls like me.
Overall, it was a fun filled , informative and exciting event which kept everyone on their toes without a bit of boredom. The food served at venue was also very tasty and of course made from Palm oil.I sincerely thank MPOC , Dr. Bhavna Shah and Mr Sandeep Bhan for taking out their valuable time and enlightening us on the importance of red palm oil.
