Scorpio Man Love, Lust, and ObsessionScorpio Man Love, Lust, and Obsession by Nikita Gharat
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think she has described, the Scorpio man point blank. What I liked is the fact that she has elaborated the Scorpio stare.

She let's the girl in love with a Scorpio man distinguish between love and lust. It is true that Scorpio men are known for the loyalty but they can also be brutal heartbreakers. This book helps in finding out whether you are with a keeper or breaker. Also, there are additional chapters such as Scorpio man and eros signs, which help in knowing "what triggers the particular scorpio man".

The book has detailed insight, I loved reading it. Recommended for those in love with a Scorpio man and also for those who are Scorpio themselves.

NESSUS V/S NEMESIS: WHO IS THE ABUSER ASTEROID IN ASTROLOGY?

There are many takes on abusive asteroids. There is a scare about Nessus that if conjuncts your natal planet, angle or node then the person becomes abusive. When you think of abuse it can be plain abuse which is either physical, mental or emotional nature. Abuse is for the sake of abuse. It has no feelings or emotions attached to it.  It is pure abuse. You can never glorify or think about it in any positive way. Planets tell you about the real picture of the nature and intensity of abuse. House placements and angles tell you about the place where it will take place. Nodes tell you the motivation behind abuse.

But asteroids tell you exactly who will abuse and how. No matter how strange it sounds but asteroids can actually nail the thing. There are two asteroids namely Nessus and Nemesis who are known as "abusive". But there is a significant difference in their nature. Most of the times the confusion between their natures can lead to a wrong conclusion. You can stay in a relationship plagued with Nemesis assuming that it is the "possessive streak". At other times, you can reject the advances of "Nessus" considering it to be direct abuse. So, what is the difference? Who is better? To speak so, none. However, you need to know the difference to handle the energy of each.

NESSUS:

My observation led me to research on Nessus who is the evil man who raped Dejanira who was the lover of Hercules. Nessus was obsessed by the desire to have Dejanira and he couldn't control himself. He manipulated Dejanira when Hercules attacked him to put his bloody clothes on him so that he could love her forever. However, when she put his clothes on Hercules, it led to his death. Therefore, Nessus in your chart is the "incessant desire". It is obsession of willing to have things at all costs. Nessus won't give the person he desires to anyone else even if he cannot have her himself. In fact, Nessus is anything that we want beyond control and are willing to go to any lengths to get it. So, wherever he is in your chart, it is your lowest point. The sign he falls in shows how you desire incessantly and the house tells you what exactly is your incessant desire. When he conjuncts your personal planets, he highlights your incessant qualities pertaining to that planet. It is same for the house rulers and angles. In synastry, when he conjuncts/opposes the other person's personal planets and house rulers he is activating himself. Nessus will want the moon, sun, mars, venus, saturn, jupiter, pluto, uranus, neptune incessantly. His conjunctions to the angles will show his deep obsession and interest of the angle person concerning the quality of the angle.

If he conjuncts Dejanira then he will want her incessantly. She will be his victim. A person who has a strong nessus in his chart is not necessary an incessant person. He becomes when it is touched.

NEMESIS:

I was confused as I have mentioned above who was the real abuser. I understood that Nessus was our deepest and uncontrolled incessant desire. So, he is an abuser with a motivation. Therefore, that is actually more of a captivational abuse and not a plain abuse. Although, it doesn't glorify him but Nemesis more the enemy than what I would accuse Nessus of being. I will cite an example for it. I know somebody was regularly beaten'up in school right from the tender age of 6 to 10 yrs. The boy who hit her was a bully. He was the friend of the grandson of the man who was one of the owners of the school. You can take example of Draco Malfoy to Hermoine Granger. I tried to search for Nessus aspects from his side to check for the "Abuse" coming from him to her. She has dejanira conjunct moon natally. So, you can see that "victim" part is very much there.

However, he had no Nessus aspect other than a "Nessus trine Dejanira" aspect. Both of them were born the same year and Nessus moves very slowly. So, she has Nessus trine Dejanira natally as well. Now, here, comes the interesting part. She has her Nemesis in Capricorn and the boy was a Sun in Capricorn. She never has a good relationship with Capricorns (men) and finds it problematic as she is a Capricorn descendant.

Nevertheless, the most interesting part is that Capricorn boy has his Nemesis in Sag which conjuncts her Moon/Dejanira. Now, you see "pure abuse". Draco Malfoy does not have incessant desire for Hermoine. He purely hates her out of a feeling of superiority. Therefore, he is Nemesis and not Nessus.

Nessus is the centaur of Pluto, so when you think of Nessus always think of Pluto. When you think of Pluto think of Scorpio and the #8thouse of the zodiac.

I love your posts, Aishwarya. Can you tell me specifically what effect a person's Nessus would have conjunct my Venus in Sagittarius, my Mercury (in Libra) or my ASC (in Cancer)? Many thanks.
It will depend upon the strength and direction of the Nessus in that person's chart. Suppose his Nessus is strong and aggressive then it would mean that he tends to be bossy with you. Since, Venus is a love and sex planet, it might mean that he will tend to dominate you in these matters. He will be addicted or obsessed about your beauty, love nature and appeal. In Sag, Nessus is very much at home. Tell me the degrees, if possible!
For Rumifreak, I supposed you have joined the blog. I will give you a short reading in a day or two. I am also writing a new post on "transiting pluto on desc"
Hi, Rumi

I just read your synastry charts to get a better understanding. Your relationship with John is "Hot as Hell" and dynamic with lots of unpredictability. I am not sure if this is a relationship that has the length but it has the impact, a strong one. Your charts say that the meeting was "unusual, out of the blue" in some way. I can say this is how a Pluto person will enter your life at the beginning of this transit. Uranus will have a big role to play. It is a gut wrenching, exciting relationship with possibilities.

ty for that..but i need more..what to do..let it go.. i want to travel and be gone...he had another melt down 2 mos ago and no contact since..what a way to end..feels bad...

i have changed what i thought i knew...its not about shared interests that attracts my soul..its a soul connection...it looks so unlike what i thought i wanted..what people look for as compatibility...but the love generated from a soul place is what opens my heart to being willing to be more tolerant and more compassionate...

what is the point of hot as hell...if we can't see the "lessons" thru...?????

isn't it better...even when parting (because both people have to say yes) to do so in peace and love..with a rational ending..instead of out of the blue.."Get the hell out of my house"? and cancel our trip for my birthday next week!

i admit i have a hard time letting go of something this hot and this strong...all those Taurus plansts... but the aspects to my 6/7 hse with pluto and 9/10 house with uranus have quietly changed me..even i admit to that!
your awesome..thanks...but id be ever so grateful for a bit more clarity on future action...or to pack up my marbles and go home. :(

Hi Aishwarya, very helpful post! However could you enlighten me on Nessus conjunct moon in synastry? What if the both moons are tightly conjunct as well?
There are two ways Nessus can act depending upon his own natal placement n aspects. The first would be an obsessive desire to control the moon person emotionally, through excessive nurturing and by instilling insecurity. The other would be being overly protective about the moon person and/or over-pampering the moon person. Nessus is moved by the feminine side of the moon, if the moon is a woman it is a Yin -Yang polarity in place. Moon person might be a bit of scared of the Nessus person.

Thank you very much Aishwarya, your insight does enlighten me! Nessus does scares me know knowing that. I do not have his time of birth however his moon is unaspected, only with a tight conjunction to Nessus and inconjuncts his venus; which conjuncts to my moon in synastry.

One more thing I worry about is that the whole combo sits in my 10th house. I was just wondering how everything will play out?

His moon conjunct Nessus is in scorpio btw...

Hi, what can we say about nemesis in synastry contacts ?
The nemesis of person A exactly conjunct to the pluto of person B?
It means that the can be ennemies even if other goog aspects are presents in tne synastry chart?
what about an exact conjunction between the nessus of her and the mars of him in her descendent?
Thank you.
Nemesis on a moon in synastry contact can be emotional enemy, the nemesis person may cause emotional disturbances for the moon person. You can think about the other planets in the same context.

Nemesis cannot overshadow good aspects but it will be active in the house area of the planet person during the interaction with the nemesis person. Nessus is an obsession out of control, on his mars, it will be power struggle in the relationship (descendant).
His Nessus conjunct your moon can mean that you can become his emotional victim. In a way, that he can manipulate your emotions. Since, his own moon is conjunct his Nessus he can must a master emotional manipulator or someone with uncontrolled emotions. You may feel a need to help him or be his emotional support. In a scenario, when you think of leaving him he may turn to emotional blackmailing. Nessus is someone who tries to take control like Pluto at it's selfish best. Look at the sign and house where it falls for both in the synastry.

Hi, please can you help me to figure that out :

His Nessus + Nemesis conjunct my DC in 7th house Gemini and this trines my Venus, Vesta and his name planet
and trines my Nemesis conjuncting his south-node .
And my Nemesis conjunct my Semele in 10th house Libra.

We know eachother since 2,5 years and 7 month he dated me , only 2 dates and then bit texting , no kiss, no touch, some photos but all in a very serious frame . He is still married and plans divorce ... and has emotional problems ... he not talks about,, but I know about that things and he knows that I know.
We both feel strong drawn to eachother and have many other strong soulmate aspects with nodes, Vertex Venus, AC etc.

I know from constellations that many conflicts ( all mirrored in astrolgy ;-) ) can get solved / lived on spiritual level by overcoming old pain from childhood by constellation therapy .
What you think about the conjunct and the trines ...

Dear Aishwarya, thank you so much for that article. I'm having Nemesis conjunct my Venus (in libra/6th house). This has me worried. Does this mean I'm only falling in love with the 'enemy' or when I'm mistreated?? A man has to show me the cold shoulder at least once so i can develop feelings. (Though I'm also a Plutonian person)
Hi,

Kate

Although,I will have to look at the whole chart. But it kind of rings true that you may attract enemy types. Or otherwise, your love or desires may look enemy like to the others causing some kind of repulsion. However, do not get disheartened. A lot depends upon transits and progressions, also upon synastry and composites.
Hi,

Anonymous above Kate,

I think this sounds like a karmic debt to me. I would have to look into the charts into details though. Anyways, Nessus plus Nemesis is high-voltage karma and drama. It can rip your world apart and push you into a dark valley. I know it is difficult but try to rise above all this and keep your self detached as possible. Sorry, for the delayed reply. I hope you are better and feel in the peace in your heart.

Hi, could you explain Nessus conjunct antivertex in synastry please? He has nessus conjunct ascendant natal conjunct my antivertex. My Nessus also conjuncts his ascendant. Thanks
Anonymous said…
Hey i juat find that his Nessus is in my ASC (our first house) and my Nessus conjuction his Rahu? What about that?:/
He can show obsession related to you based on your ascendant sign and the house where his Nessus falls.

His Nessus conjunct your Rahu or North Node means that his obsession and ID will change or illuminate your life path.

Nessus in Houses, Signs and Synastry: Obsession Out of Control

For most people Nessus symbolizes abuse, excessive lust and manipulation. Although, it cannot be denied that it is associated with these qualities, it is unnatural to associate it solely with these things. I have read excessively disturbing interpretations of Nessus on the internet. I really cannot understand why some astrologers have a prejudice against some asteroids and planets. In this article, I will try to clear the air about Nessus and will give an insight about reading him in your chart and synastry. To begin with, Nessus is a centaur of Pluto. So, associating him with darkness, manipulation, obsession, possessiveness and excessive lust is understandable. Nessus is an uncontrolled unevolved Pluto. When he has hard aspects natally, then he shows his dark side but when he has good aspects then he can be a problem solver. Good aspects are aspects from Saturn, Jupiter and Chiron. Most astrologers over the internet want to paint a gruesome picture of Nessus. However, I believe...

Transiting Pluto Conjunct Your Descendant: Evil Partners or Passionate Relationships?

So, Cancer ascendants you have either faced  this or are about to face this condition in your life. This something that will happen to you sooner or later. A plutonic person will walk in your life and it will never be the same after that incident. It can be a male for female and female for a male but he/she will leave you with unanswered questions. These questions shake the earth underneath you and ask you to "transform" your perspective of "relationships".  Pluto's deep (scorpionic) stare at Persephone Whether you are in a marriage or considering to marry, this man/woman will snatch the rose colored glasses of your eyes. Pluto is deep, earthshaking force that creates the strongest of tornadoes and leaves you eroded once it passes you. It changes the scene drastically and permanently for better or for worse. 8th House Synastry: When You Feel It Deeply and Madly!

When the 8th house is affected in synastry, you will feel the hit truly, madly  and deeply. However, the planet person may not know at all. Most of the times people don't understand that in synastry house overlays, the planet person is not affected. It is the house person who feels the energy of the planet. The same is applicable for the asteroids and points. The house person is the host while the planet person is the guest. Until unless it has any friend or enemy belonging to the planet person, there is no way the planet person will feel anything. That is why, unrequited love takes place. There are four sensitive points where planets in synastry can affect us deeply such as the ascendant (mind, personality), IC (soul and past lives), descendant (partnerships and open enemies) and MC (family name, public image and professional status). Nevertheless, there are other points that can be extremely personal such as 2nd house cusp (security needs), 5th house cusp (romance and pr...
